Position Title: Associate Art Director
Position Summary:
The Associate Art Director will play a key role in shaping and executing the visual identity of the brand across all channels. This position is responsible for concepting, designing, and delivering elevated creative solutions that support brand storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and commercial objectives.
This role requires a highly creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of fashion, design systems, and digital-first content. The Associate Art Director will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, cross-functional marketing teams, and external partners to bring innovative concepts to life across social, e-commerce, runway, and brand campaigns.

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $120,000 to $130,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
Position Summary:
The Associate Art Director will play a key role in shaping and executing the visual identity of the brand across all channels. This position is responsible for concepting, designing, and delivering elevated creative solutions that support brand storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and commercial objectives.
This role requires a highly creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of fashion, design systems, and digital-first content. The Associate Art Director will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, cross-functional marketing teams, and external partners to bring innovative concepts to life across social, e-commerce, runway, and brand campaigns.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Creative Direction & Concept Development
- Develop and execute compelling, on-brand creative concepts across integrated platforms including digital, social, print, and experiential.
- Partner with Creative Leadership to translate brand vision into cohesive seasonal campaigns and storytelling.
- Create mood boards, visual frameworks, and presentation decks to communicate creative direction.
- Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and cross-functional ideation for campaigns and brand initiatives.
Design & Execution
- Lead the design and production of assets across channels including social media, e-commerce, email, web, and marketing collateral.
- Oversee the creation of homepage content, email layouts, and digital storytelling assets (video, interactive, and motion where applicable).
- Design and develop visual assets for product launches, brand campaigns, and retail activations.
- Support and execute print materials including lookbooks, mailers, packaging, and in-store/outdoor visuals.
- Ensure consistency and excellence across all touchpoints, maintaining high standards of typography, layout, and brand identity.
Content & Campaign Production
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, production teams, and external vendors to execute shoots and campaigns.
- Contribute to creative concepting and execution of lookbooks, runway/show projects, and seasonal content.
- Oversee retouching and post-production to ensure visual quality aligns with brand standards.
- Develop and adapt assets for performance marketing, including banners and remarketing content.
Digital & E-Commerce Creative
- Support the development of digital experiences, including website updates, UI considerations, and e-commerce storytelling.
- Partner with digital teams to review layouts and ensure seamless execution across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Create and optimize web-based graphics and digital media presentations for e-commerce.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the Founder/Creative Director, designers, and marketing teams to align on creative vision and execution.
- Proactively communicate challenges, timelines, and opportunities, offering solutions where needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Partnering with cross-functional departments for delivery of internal marketing collateral.
Trend & Brand Innovation
- Stay current on fashion, design, and digital trends to continuously elevate creative output.
- Contribute to the evolution of brand identity, including logo treatments, typography, and graphic systems.
Content Creation:
- Homepage
- Email layout
- Extra assets for hp (slideshow, video, interactive, one-off projects)
- Reformat look-book for e-commerce.
- Social media assets (including retouching)
- Studio asset creation
- Re-marketing assets for banner
- Any changes to the site (mobile for example) requires our digital creative team to review layouts and details
- One-off projects including visuals (such as isetan stage)
- Show projects
- Retouching
Look Book:
- Creative concepting
- Execution of look book set and shoot
Graphic Design:
- Layout, treatments on all website digital assets.
- Upload on the yoox uploads
- Show invites
- Mailer for other stores
- Outdoor /in-store visuals
- Hoarding layout graphics
- Printed lookbooks / creative seasonal mailers
- Layout for use of aw logo
- Inspiration for new aw logo / denim logo treatments
- Special projects: packaging graphics, t-shirt graphics, misc collateral
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or a creative agency/in-house environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end creative, campaign thinking, and execution across digital and print
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Final Cut or similar tools)
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling
- Experience working across e-commerce, social, and campaign-driven environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
