Status: Full Time – Exempt
Reports to: Sales Director
Hours: Monday through Friday; 9:30-5:30. There will be occasional overtime in the mornings, evenings, and/or weekends based on business needs. Occasional travel is required.

Position Summary – An Account Executive is responsible for account management of our Company's six luxury women’s, men’s and an accessories line with the focus on Men’s RTW category. The Account Executive will work directly with Wholesale, WS Operations, Accounting and Marketing teams, as well as other subsidiaries and HQ. This role requires some international and domestic travel, including occasional driving. The Account Executive will work closely with Assistant Wholesale Manager and Senior Account Executives and report to Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales Team on business, marketing strategies and special projects to maximize sales growth, promote brand image and inventory management.
- Work with Sales Team on business analysis, planning, forecasting, and pricing for assigned brands.
- Assist in implementation of process updates and system developments. Keep all relevant documents up to date.
- Extensive knowledge of all the brands and product categories in the company with particular focus on Men’s RTW.
- Work closely with Assistant Wholesale Manager and Senior Account Executives and support work of other team members as needed.
Brand Management:
- Manage seasonal market prep, sales, and reconciliation for the brands
- Selling documents
- Carnet (if applicable)
- Pricing
- Order limitations / restrictions
- NuORDER set up
- Scheduling and execution of sales appointments
- SAP order entry
- Order confirmations / export for production
- Contract confirmation with the brand
- Manage delivery schedule for split shipments.
- Compile weekly, monthly, and end of season selling reports as well are the brand business overview to share with HQ. Work on other reporting as needed.
- Tracking all POs to ensure any changes (delays, cancellations) are reflected in the in-season delivery plans and communicated to all relevant parties.
- Track and analyze in-season business for the brand. Identify and execute in-season business such as transfer, replenishment, incentives.
- Monitor online businesses for pricing, markdowns, and other promotional activities.
- Arrange merchandise sample loans for majors to ensure the products are photographed and published online at the timing that is aligned with the brand policy, and the brand image and copy information are up to brand standards.
- Discuss business strategies and product development of assigned brands with Sales Director.
- Regular market visits to maintain brand awareness, merchandise selection, gather competitive intelligence.
- Organize product knowledge training, trunk shows, or other promotional activities.
- Act as a brand ambassador and lead by example.
Communications/Networking
- Build rapport with other IMU departments, subsidiaries and HQ.
- Develop and maintain relationships with majors and specialty store accounts for the assigned brands.
- Research market and competition and identify business opportunities to create new revenues.
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- 3-5 years of wholesale experience in the fashion or luxury industry. Experience in luxury RTW and Accessories is a plus
- Strong organizational and operational skills
- Solid understanding of retail math
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel functions and formulas
- Knowledge of SAP and NuOrder is a plus
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions
- Valid driver’s license
