SENIOR AGENT

Role & Main Mission
The Senior Agent leads and supports the career development of represented artists. They negotiate contracts and oversee the overall management of projects, in close collaboration with the agency director.

Key Responsibilities

Artist Relations

  • Direct relationship with artists

  • Definition and monitoring of career strategies

  • Prospecting and network development: artists, potential clients (magazines, etc.)

  • Monitoring the artistic landscape to identify opportunities for artists

  • Managing artists’ schedules

  • Organizing meetings with artists

  • Commercial negotiations with clients and artists

  • Monitoring and tracking exhibitions, launches, and openings

  • Follow-up on rights extensions

  • Monitoring the use of visuals and campaigns

Strategy & Development

  • Designing and implementing artist development strategies

  • Identifying new potential clients

  • Developing and executing prospecting strategies

  • Structuring internal organization: drafting guidelines and procedures

  • Initiating and coordinating with the creative assistant on newsletters, Instagram, models.com etc.

  • Monitoring and updating portfolios

Project Management

  • Negotiating quotes and fees with clients

  • Overseeing the validation and signing process of quotes

  • Financial monitoring and planning of projects in collaboration with production

  • Tracking client invoicing

  • Monitoring monthly and annual gross margin summaries

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen

  • Good knowledge of the artistic, creative, and cultural sectors

  • Ability to design and manage development strategies

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize

  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility

  • Proactive mindset and initiative

  • Proficiency with office and collaborative tools

  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
