Primary Purpose:

As part of the Tapestry Global Total Rewards team, this position will provide holistic C&B solutions across the North Asia region - Japan and Korea. The role will design, deliver compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and engage a talented workforce for Tapestry Business Units and operations based across North Asia markets.

Compensation & Benefits Program Management
  • Managing a range of Benefits Review projects (eg: Insurance Benefits, Retirement plans etc.) to enhance the North Asia benefits offering and introduce flexibility and choice within plan designs.
  • Managing broad-based compensation initiatives, including rewards program design, optimization, complex local and cross-border offers, and M&A-related compensation integration if any.
  • Monitoring competitive trends in Compensation & Benefits and recommending strategies to ensure Tapestry remains competitive in the sub-region.


Consulting & Business Partnership
  • Developing Reward programs and policies to guide HR Business Partners across the organization.
  • Providing consultative support to people managers and business leaders on compensation and rewards solutions.
  • Offering guidance on Tapestry's equity program to eligible employees, including communicating relevant tax implications to ensure compliance.


Annual Compensation Review
  • Serving as a critical member of the Year-End Process project team.
  • Acting as the internal expert on the annual compensation cycle, ensuring leaders are equipped for performance reviews, merit decisions, bonus payouts, equity recommendations, communications, and total compensation statements.


Projects & Governance
  • Participating in incentive/variable pay design projects, with a particular focus on the retail/store population.
  • Managing the Job Architecture Framework for North Asia, ensuring equitable job leveling within and across the organization.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs and recommending enhancements as needed.
  • Other APAC projects as required.


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in Total Rewards.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making capability with sound business acumen.
  • A relationship builder who can partner effectively with diverse stakeholders across business units.
  • A strong consultative approach and excellent judgment.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working in a US headquartered multinational organization is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR systems.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese.
  • WAW certification is an advantage.
